About the job

Full stack web developer specialising in WordPress and Shopify development. 

Working with a range of clients, from start-ups to household brands, you'll be responsible for taking designed projects and bringing them to life. This will require building bespoke WordPress and Shopify themes from scratch, that are pixel perfect and a joy to use.

You must have have a keen eye and a passion for making engaging and interactive digital experiences.

During the pandemic, we moved from our London office to working remotely. We plan on getting a new office in 2023, but will continue to have a flexible working policy.

We'll consider applicants that would rather work primarily from home or from the office but will only accept UK based applicants, as attending occasional meetings will be required.

About you

• At least 3 years experience with WordPress development, including best practices in development & coding
  

• Experience developing custom themes for WordPress

• Some experience developing custom WordPress plugins to solve specific client requirements

• At least 2 years experience with Shopify development

• Skilled in CSS3, HTML5, PHP and Javascript, with the ability to work accurately from visual designs

• Would always rather use good HTML and CSS rather than rely on heavy use of JavaScript frameworks
  

• Some development experience with WooCommerce is preferable

• Experience in UX/UI development and cross-platform responsive behaviour

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and to communicate quickly & clearly

• Very good understanding of written and spoken English as well as being a good communicator
